Switpack which is part of the Swit Group of companies with it's head office's located in Warsaw Poland have recently relocated it's Cosmetic Tube Manufacturing to make way for expansion plans in 2012.

Switpack offers Polyethylene Tubes ranging from 19mm - 50mm diameter. Whilst the rest of Europe has recently been struggling with the well documented problems of the Euro Zone Poland and it's manufacturing base has been largely unaffected. This has resulted in an increase in interest for Polish manufacturing and in particular cosmetic tubes, caps and closures.

Switpack currently offers 6 colour offset printing and new for 2012 "add a splash of colour" tube labeling solutions. This range will expand to digital printing on tubes and laminates.

Cosmetic Tube Sealing Machines

Well we thought we would go a little crazy today and push the boundaries of Polythylene Tubes Sites by showing you some examples of what to do when you have your tube it is filled and you need to Seal it up also known as crimping

This first video is a Semi-Automatic Machine Sealing what looks like some cosmetic tubes. These types of machines can be found in Labortories all around the world. Watch out you don't seal your fingers.

Self Promotion
Most PE Tube manufactures have the ability to screen print directly onto the Plastic cosmetic tubes. In some cases upto 6 colours can be used plus of course the actual colour of the tube enabling the marketing men and designers to make a whole range of attractive eye catching buy me now tubes. Also due to the nature of the shape of the Pe Tubes the products can easily be displayed on shop shelves whilst still being practical for the end user.

Flexible packaging
During the process of the production of Polyethylene Tubes it is possible to select the degree of hardness or softness. This provides some great benifits for both the manufacture and end user. For the manufacture the plastic cosmetic tubes can be easilly packed in box's and damaging the Cosmetic tubes is quite hard due to the soft squeezy nature of the Pe Tube. For the end user squeezyness is one of the most important features enabling them to squeeze the contents out with ease.

Flip tops, screw tops and even pumps can be added to the cosmetic pe tubes giving a wide range of uses for the contents of the tubes.

Easy Printing
Although the pe tube is quite irregular in shape with modern Polyethylene screen printing machines priniting is easy. Graphics and even pictures can be used and by using a technic called Hot Stamp printing you are able to add Gold, Silver and other colour shiney foil to the design.
